Vivica A. Fox was born Thursday, July 30, 1964 at South Bend, Indiana, in the United States of America. Born to parents with African American and Native American roots, Vivica A. Fox made an early start to what turned out to be an interesting life making way for quite a rich biography. She was the youngest in a family of four, coming in after two brothers and a sister.

Education

Her father was a school administrator thus understood the value of a good foundational educational for his children. He sent Vivica for her early education at Arlington High School, Indianapolis. She went further to bag an associate degree at the Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California. Her sojourn in that city opened up the possibilities that she aspire to in applying her talents rightly.

Career Experience

Vivica Fox started life as an actress quite early. While in California, she discovered her strength in the area of dramatization and went into professional acting, starring in the NBC day time soap opera: ‘Days of Our Lives’ in 1988. Making a huge success of that endeavour, she went on to act in the drama film ‘Born on the Fourth of July,’ playing the very interesting role of a hooker in that 1989 film. With a daring start to her life as an actress, she went on to act in many popular movies and soap operas.

In the 1990s, Vivica played guest roles in the ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,’ ‘Beverly Hills 90210’, ‘Family Matters’ and then acted as Patti Labelle’s daughter in ‘Out All Night.’ Perhaps her most received role mid way into her career was playing Will Smith’s girlfriend in the science fiction movie – ‘Independence Day.’ It is worthy of note that though her fans and the entire showbiz industry received that movie really well, Vivica’s personal preference for movies she has been part of is titled ‘Set it Off’ also made in 1996. This outstanding actress with many movie titles to her name has also received awards including MTV Movie Award for Best Performance because of her role in the comedy-drama ‘Soul Food.’

Personal Life

Vivica Fox has had a glamorous career on the screen but quite a stormy personal life. She married singer Christopher Harvest in 1998 but the couple got a divorce in 2002. Vivica moved on to date the rapper 50 Cents and in 2011 broke an engagement with club promoter Omar White.

Vivica does not have children of her own but is a proud god mother to three lovely children. With a height of 5ft 8inch, the tall diva is always a delight to watch on television. As tall as she is, she once confessed that she hates heights – so no sky diving please! Being around Hollywood for a while, Vivica has also made a fortune for herself. Her net worth stands at about $6 million. Vivica Fox is a proud Democrat and is rooting for Hillary Clinton in the forthcoming US Presidential elections. She has helped to fore up the latter’s base of women voters and is happily doing more.
