Josh Elliott was born on 6th July, 1971. Elliot, who is an American Television Journalist, is currently under a job with CBS News channel. He has done various kind of jobs like he was a sport anchor for NBC Sports, a news anchor for ABC’s Good Morning America and he was also a co-anchor for ESPN’s Sportscenter that came in the morning and it was a live telecast show. He was a sportscaster and a news anchor. He had a height of about 6 feet 3 inches which is about 1.91 metres.

Josh Elliot was born on 6th July, 1971, to his mother Susan but unfortunately due to some reasons, Susan gave his son up for being adopted. Elliot was adopted by Charles Elliot and Toni Jordan. Elliott was brought up in Los Angeles in California. After few years his parents went through a split as his father turned out to be a gay. After two years of their split, Elliot’s father died and he was just 15 years old back then.
Josh completed his graduation from Loyola High School of Los Angeles and then he went to the University of California in Santa Barbara. Josh had the dream and hope of joining the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos men’s water polo team but he could not get into the team but instead he worked in The Daily Nexus which was the university paper. He had pursued his BA in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCBC). After bin graduated he started working as a stringer in Santa Barbara News Press then he earned a Master of Science Degree in the year from the Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.

After Elliot graduated from Columbia, he started working for Sports Illustrated for six whole years. He covered some major events in sports. Before Elliot moved to 20th Century Fox, he worked as a producer for Galaxy Productions. Josh Elliot’s career started with the ESPN channel as a panelist for Around the Horn and Jim Rome is Burning, in the year 2004. He also served for Cold Pizza on ESPN 2 as a guest co-host in the channel. Everyday expect the weekends, when ESPN began airing Sportscenter, Josh was paired with Hannah Storm as an anchor for the first three hours of the show that began at 9 am EST. He started as a journalist with ABC’s Good Morning America in the year 2011, after Juju Chang made his departure from the post of a news anchor. He worked on the weekend edition of ABC World News as a substitute anchor.
He also worked in the Good Morning America’s afternoon edition along with Lara Spencer which started from July 9 and continued till September 7, 2012. Later in the year 2014, in the month of March, the president of ABC News, Ben Sherwood, announced that Josh Elliott would be departing from ABC’s Good Morning America as he had signed a contract with NBC. After Josh made his place vacant, Amy Robach was placed at his post immediately. After working along with NBC, he increased his bank balance to almost $4 million dollar each year. He made his on-air debut with Kentucky Derby and he was restricted to the NBC Sports programming for a period of six months. In the month of December, 2015 Elliott had left NBC as well without the completion of two years time in NBC. Elliot was pleased and blessed to be a part of NBC and he wanted to look forward to what comes next in his life.
As a journalist he was then hired by the CBS in the year 2016 on March 1 as the lead anchor for its digital news service CBSN. The reason for hiring Josh, as explained by the president of CBS, David Rhodes was that, Elliot needed an outlet and CBS was a perfect place for him as it has an unlimited scope for Josh. CBS has some really hard working employees but they do not have enough of them and hiring Elliot would make an addition to the hard working and deserving employees of CBS News. Josh could bring in different areas of anchoring and reporting.

After working with ESPN he worked in ABC’s Good Morning America, ABC World News. He served as the host of Today with NBC. He also got an Emmy Award in the year 2005 in New York City for contributing his writings to Angles on MSG Network. He had also served in the show named Super Bowl XL as a co-host for the channel of Westwood One Sports.

After some time, Josh got engaged to Lizabeth Aimee Cho. On the 11th of July 2015, Josh and Liz got married in Montecito, California. Liz Cho is a local news anchor. She anchored the weekday’s editions of Eyewitness News at 4pm and 6pm and at the WABC TV in New York City as well. Both Josh and Liz Cho have children from their previous wife and husband respectively.
