Alexandra Guarnaschelli renowned as Alex is an executive and celebrity chef at the Butter restaurant of New York City. She was an executive chef at The Darby restaurant, a famous restaurant in NY, before it closed down. She appeared on the shows of Food Network such as All Star Family Cook-off, Iron Chef, America Chopped, and The Best Thing I Ever Ate as a television personality in the Food Network and Cooking Channel.
She hosted the popular shows named The Cooking Loft and Alex's Day Off. Alex was awarded America's Next Iron Chef on the show called Iron Chef America in the year 2012. Alex Guarnaschelli, daughter of Maria Guarnaschelli, the cookbook editor, and John Guarnaschelli. She graduated from the school Horace Mann and she got a graduation degree in the year 1991 from Barnard College. She used to watch her mother editing her cookbooks while testing several recipes. Alex worked at many of the French restaurants and before that she worked under Larry Forgione. She even worked in many restaurants in Los Angeles and New York as well including restaurant like Guy Savoy's La Butte Chaillot. Some other restaurants where she worked are Joachim Splichal's Patina and Daniel Boulud's eponymous restaurants before she became executive chef in NYC'S Butter Restaurant.
